Spooky Fun In North Myrtle Beach

witchstory

Ghosts and Legends Theater in North Myrtle Beach at the Barefoot Landing is an adventure I would recommend to anyone. There is the Ghosts and Legends Show, where popular local legends unfold. This show is performed by the ghosts themselves and portrays the life’s of Ghosts, Pirates, and Slaves. Enjoy the special effects and the intriguing story line as it unfolds from within a classic southern plantation parlor. While I enjoyed this, the Myrtle Beach Ghost Walk was the best part of the night. You will surely be entertained if not a bit frightened by this moonlight excursion. The walk departs at dusk, where you are led by a very knowledgeable guide who entertains you with 13 bone chilling tales for a full 90 minutes as you explore the haunted swamps of Gauses Inlet, where alligators and ghosts from long ago are said to still reside. Finally, at the end of the walk you gather around a table for the Blackbeard Seance. The Seance is an exclusive theatrical version of the ones performed in the 1850’s.  The walks and Seance are limited and they do recommend you make a reservation. Children can attend but only accompanied by an adult, and I would definitely recommend bringing someone with you to grab onto. Tickets for the two events are sold separately, but if you choose to do both the show and the walk you will receive a discount.

Free Movie Day

Looking for ways to entertain the kids today? Take them to the Market Commons Grand 14 Cinema. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday they offer a FREE movie time. There is no age limit on who can attend, but all movies are targeted for a younger audience.  Movie starts at 10am and as an extra bonus drink and popcorn are offered for $1 a piece.
