Enjoy everything from spaghetti to sparklers this weekend as the Grand Strand starts to celebrate Independence Day! On Saturday in Myrtle Beach’s Valor Park , located at the Market Common, the Sons of Italy will host Festa Italiana, a two-day Italian Festival. There’s entertainment from Frank Gigli, Larry Tanelli and the Dino Show, Louis Prima Tribute, and Elvis and The Blues Brothers from Legends in Concert. There will be Italian food and Dessert booths, FREE children’s arts and crafts table, and much more. The festival hours for both days will be 11:00am to 6:00pm.
Conway will host its Independence Day celebration on Saturday with Riverfest. The annual event, held at the Riverwalk in downtown is a festive day filled with Food, Fun, and Fireworks. There will be a boat parade, homemade raft race, LIVE music on multiple stages, a car show, Jell-O jump, and the evening will end with a fabulous fireworks display. Event starts at 3pm.
Sunday will be the City of Myrtle Beach’s Independence Day celebration. The celebration will be held at BB&T Coastal Field, gate opens at 5pm. Come and be entertained by the Andrew Thielen Big Band, who will perform at 7:30pm. Food and drinks will be sold, but you are free to bring your own picnic and cooler. (NO glass containers permitted). Fireworks will begin at 9:15 pm.
